    Shipping Coverage

    Krator Engines delivers nationwide throughout South Africa. All deliveries are handled through trusted courier and freight partners experienced in transporting heavy automotive components, including engines and gearboxes.

    Shipping Costs

    Delivery charges are determined based on:

    • Delivery destination

    • Size and weight of the engine or gearbox

    • Freight and transport requirements

    Applicable shipping costs will be confirmed before your order is dispatched.

    From time to time, promotional shipping specials may be offered. Due to the nature and size of automotive components, same-day or express delivery services are generally not available unless specifically stated.

    Order Processing

    • Processing Time: 1–2 business days (Monday to Friday)

    • Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next working day.

    • Orders confirmed after 12:00 PM (SAST) may only be processed the following business day.

    Order processing may be delayed due to:

    • Payment verification procedures

    • Missing or incorrect vehicle or engine information

    • Incomplete delivery details

    • Increased order volumes

    Should any delays occur, our team will contact you by phone or email.

    As suppliers of used engines and gearboxes, certain orders may require engine code or compatibility verification before dispatch to ensure the correct unit is supplied.

    Delivery Timeframes

    Estimated Transit Time Within South Africa:
    3–7 business days depending on the delivery region and freight provider.

    Estimated Total Delivery Time:
    Processing (1–2 business days) + Transit (3–7 business days)
    Approximately 4–9 business days in total.

    Please note that delivery estimates may vary due to location, freight schedules, or operational conditions. Large automotive components often require specialized freight handling, which may affect delivery timelines.

    Dispatch and Tracking

    Once your order has been shipped:

    • You will receive dispatch confirmation via email or phone.

    • Tracking information will be supplied where available.

    • Please allow 24–48 hours for tracking updates to appear on the courier system.

    Order Cancellations

    If you wish to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible.

    Please note:

    • Orders already in processing may not be eligible for cancellation.

    • Once an order has been dispatched, cancellations cannot be processed and the Returns Policy will apply.

    • Collection or return freight costs may apply for shipped engines or gearboxes.

    Address Changes

    Customers are responsible for supplying complete and accurate delivery information during checkout.

    Once order processing has started, address changes cannot be guaranteed. Orders already dispatched may not be rerouted due to freight handling limitations.

    Shipping Issues

    Lost or Damaged Deliveries

    If your shipment arrives visibly damaged, please notify us immediately upon delivery and report the issue to the freight provider.

    Krator Engines cannot be held responsible for parcels marked as successfully delivered by the courier. Customers will need to follow up directly with the transport company in such cases.

    Incorrect Address Information

    We are not responsible for deliveries made to addresses that were entered incorrectly or incompletely at the time of purchase.

    Orders returned due to incorrect delivery details may incur additional shipping charges for redelivery.

    Undeliverable Orders

    Orders returned because of:

    • Invalid or incomplete addresses

    • Failed delivery attempts

    • Refused deliveries

    may be subject to extra transport or handling fees. Approved refunds will exclude the original shipping and freight costs.

    Delivery Exceptions

    Delivery delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our control, including:

    • Severe weather conditions

    • Public holidays

    • Load shedding interruptions

    • Courier or freight operational delays

    • Deliveries to remote or rural areas

    During busy periods such as Black Friday, Christmas, and New Year, freight providers may experience increased delivery times. Customers are encouraged to place orders early to minimize delays.
