Payment Policy – Krator Engines

This Payment Policy sets out the accepted payment methods and conditions applicable to all purchases of used engines and gearboxes from Krator Engines.

1. Accepted Payment Methods

Krator Engines accepts the following payment options:

Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)
Credit Card payments
Debit Card payments

Cash payments are not accepted unless prior written approval has been granted.

2. EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) Payments

Customers who select EFT must make payment directly into the official Krator Engines bank account as indicated on the quotation or invoice.

Proof of payment must be sent to info@kratorengines.com.
Orders will only be processed once the full payment has cleared in our bank account.
Krator Engines is not liable for delays caused by bank processing times or interbank transfers.
Any bank charges or transfer fees are the responsibility of the customer.
No engines or gearboxes will be released or shipped until payment has been fully received and confirmed.

3. Credit and Debit Card Payments

We accept most major credit and debit cards, processed securely through trusted payment gateways.

All transactions must be authorized by the issuing bank.
Krator Engines is not responsible for declined payments due to insufficient funds, banking restrictions, or technical issues.
Where applicable, processing fees will be communicated before payment is completed.
Full payment must be received before any goods are prepared for dispatch or release.

4. Payment Terms

Full payment is required upfront unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Quoted prices are valid only for the period specified on the quotation.
Failure to complete payment may result in delays, suspension, or cancellation of the order.
Stock is only secured once payment has been confirmed.

5. Refunds and Cancellations

All refunds and cancellations are subject to our Refund Policy and applicable South African consumer protection laws.

Card payments will be refunded to the original payment method used.
EFT refunds will be returned to the same bank account from which payment was received.
Non-refundable bank or transaction fees may be deducted where applicable.
Special-order or specifically sourced engines and gearboxes may not be eligible for refunds.

6. Fraud Prevention and Verification

Krator Engines reserves the right to:

Request additional identification or proof of payment where necessary.
Withhold release of goods until payment verification is completed.
Decline or reverse any transaction suspected of fraud or unauthorized activity.

These measures are implemented to protect both our customers and our business.

7. Policy Updates

Krator Engines may update or revise this Payment Policy at any time without prior notice. The most recent version will apply to all transactions.
